ZATP II has engaged Individual Consultants to provide Business Development Services (BDS) to shortlisted Producer Organizations under the first Call for Proposals.

Under the first Call For Proposals, a total of 316 Cooperatives or Producer Organizations were recommended to proceed to full Business Proposal Development.

These will require Technical Services support to develop Business Plans and Budgets from Technical Service Providers and Consultants.

The Onboarding Orientation Workshop for Individual Consultants was held from the 23-25^th  February, 2026 at Les Elementos Hotel, in Lusaka.

The objective of the Workshop was to orient the Individual Consultants about the ZATP II Project, the Project Development Objective, its Components, institutional arrangements and to share the terms of reference for the Consultants.

The Workshop was facilitated by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) who made presentations on various Project strategic functions and the expectations from the Individual Consultants.

During the Presentation on the Overview of the ZATP II, Project Manager Golden Makayi said the Individual Consultants were recruited to fast track the process of Business Plan Development for shortlisted Cooperatives under the first Call for Proposals.
