The Zambia Agribusiness and Trade Project II (ZATP II) is conducting outreach campaigns in all the ten provinces of Zambia targeting 116 Districts and 236 Agricultural Camps across the country.
The main objective of the Outreach Campaign is to sensitise Cooperatives to apply to the Matching Grants offered by the Project under the current Call for Proposals.
The Outreach Campaigns are currently being conducted in the month of February and March 2026 by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Staff in all the four regions zoned by the Project covering all the ten provinces of Zambia.
The engagements are being conducted with support from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Education.
The PIU Teams are accompanied by the Provincial Productive Alliances Advisory Committees (PPAACS) members, Provincial and District Officers from the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED).
During the engagements, Producer Organizations are urged to apply for Matching Grants aimed to promote value addition through acquisition of agro-processing equipment.
Due to challenges of infrastructure by Producer Organizations, a number of meetings were held in schools, hence the support by the Ministry of Education.
The Call for Proposals for Matching Grants is running up to 31st March, 2026.
